For the last couple of years, I’ve been sticking with one hairstylist due to two major hair disasters in a row (nope, I won’t name names … sorry!).
The stylist who has brought my hair back to life is Marshall Lin at the Frédéric Fekkai Salon in SoHo.Ever since he’s been cutting my hair, I constantly get asked, “Who cuts your hair?,” because they all seem to want my hair, or at least my haircut! So I send them all to Marshall, and they all keep going back to him—and that makes me look good in more ways than one.
And lately it’s been double the compliment, ever since Marshall introduced me to the new colorist on the block,__ David Michaud.__David transplanted himself from Paris to New York about a year and a half ago and joined the Fekkai team. My cut is fab, but Marshall thought it might be extra-fabulous to highlight my layers a bit from the top, a great idea, I thought. Et voilà! David has given me subtle but divine highlights on my very dark brown hair (yes, brunettes get highlights, too!)David est trés, trés bon, et mes cheveux sont parfait! J’adore—merci beaucoup, Marshall et David!
